Your beta email
We collect the address you enter, your beta start/end dates, the invitation offer you used and your optional choice about beta updates. New accounts verify ownership through a one-use email link. Resend receives your address and sends the requested login email. The private owner hub shows this information, but does not show your customer list. Login and trial-status emails are enabled. Setup tips and monthly service-count emails are sent only with the relevant opt-in, which you can withdraw in your account or using an unsubscribe link. Monthly emails contain totals rather than customer names or notes. Resend sends these emails, and cron-job.org triggers the scheduled checks without receiving your customer list. Entering an address never opens an existing list belonging to that address.
Your saved customer records
The customer names, addresses, postcodes, fuel types, engineer names, service history and notes you approve are stored in your private list. A secure session cookie controls access after you verify your email. You can request a new link on another device to reopen the same verified account. Older unverified beta lists must first be linked from their original browser using Secure my saved list. We never recover an unverified list from a typed email address alone.
A necessary account cookie remembers sign-in for up to 30 days. Sign out to revoke it, or request a new email link when it expires. Login links expire after 15 minutes; only hashes of login and session tokens are stored. Editing lasts seven days for standard registrations, or 30 days for the PoweredNow offer, after which you can still view, export and delete by signing back into your verified account. No payment is collected. You can delete individual customers in My list or contact us through support to request account deletion. Deletion removes active records; infrastructure backups may retain them temporarily.
Spreadsheet and invoice imports
Files are read in your browser. The original file is not stored. Only rows you approve are saved. Invoice-description checks happen in your browser; no descriptions are sent to an AI provider. Import only information you are authorised to use and avoid unnecessary sensitive notes.
Mapping services
Only postcodes are sent to Postcodes.io for location lookup. OpenStreetMap supplies map tiles. These services receive connection information such as your IP address. Clicking Google Maps sends the selected postcode there. Pins show postcode or area centres, not exact addresses.
Optional marketing text updates
If you text START to our dedicated number shown on text updates, ClickSend records the sending number and incoming message, adds the number to our separate opt-in list, and delivers any later marketing texts and replies. We may send up to two texts a month about MyServiceRound. Reply STOP to be moved to ClickSend’s opt-out list; HELP reaches us for support. The account-only phone form previously offered on this page recorded a separate preference but did not add numbers to ClickSend. Those form entries are not uploaded for messaging. Support and retention
Support requests and the contact email you entered are saved in the private support inbox. Beta lists and contact records remain stored until removed, so keep a CSV backup. Verified accounts can sign in again after their session expires. Losing an unverified legacy beta session does not automatically erase its data, but email alone cannot recover that unverified list. Short-lived hashed rate-limit keys help prevent signup abuse.
Existing accounts and future payments
Existing platform-signed-in testers and the owner can still access their previous lists. We receive their platform identifier, verified account email and available profile name. Paid checkout is closed for this beta. No beta user is automatically subscribed or charged.
MyServiceRound is an independent service-planning business. Contact the creators with questions. The final commercial policies will be completed before a paid launch.
